These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the tattoo-visualization and tattoo-video service operated by Melt.Tattoo ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18+ and legally capable of entering binding agreements. We do not knowingly accept users under 18, and the Service is not designed for minors.
The Service is free to use. You choose or upload a tattoo design, upload a photo of your own skin or body part, and — once per UTC calendar day per non-admin user — we render a short MP4 video from your sketch and skin photo. The video is delivered by email and is also viewable in-app and via a public viewer page.
AI videos are for illustration only and are not a guarantee of real-life results.
Email Delivery: We deliver a link to your completed video by email. Email consent is required to use the video feature, and it allows you to receive your link even if you leave the page during generation. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe, which will delete your account and all associated data.
4.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all images you upload (skin photos, tattoo designs).
We do not claim ownership over your original images.
4.2 License You Grant to Us
By uploading content, you grant us and our service providers a worldwide,
royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and process
your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
4.3 Image and Video Retention
Video-pipeline artifacts — your skin photo, the tattoo sketch, the
composite of the two, the AI-baked frame, and the final MP4 — are
stored for as long as the video exists, so that the share link continues
to work and you can re-view the video. These artifacts are deleted when
you delete your account or when you email us to request removal.
4.4 Share Links
Each generated video receives a public, unguessable URL of the form
melt.tattoo/v/<token>. We do not list these URLs publicly, but
anyone who has the URL can play the video without logging in. You can request
takedown of a specific video by emailing
info@melt.tattoo.
4.5 AI Training
We do not use your uploads to train our own AI models. For our third-party
AI providers, see Section 6.

Your images and data are transmitted to these services for processing. We cannot guarantee that third-party providers will fully delete all traces of your data from their systems. If this is unacceptable, do not use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, Melt.Tattoo is not liable for: loss of data, loss of profits, damage arising from tattoo decisions, damage from artist recommendations, data breaches by third-party providers, or indirect/consequential damages.
Maximum liability: the amount you paid in the last 12 months or USD $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Melt.Tattoo from any claims arising from your uploads, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with tattoo artists.
You may delete your account. When you do, all videos and their underlying artifacts (skin photo, sketch, composite, bake frame, and the final MP4) are deleted from our storage, the corresponding share links stop working, and account data (email, events) is removed. Data already processed by third-party AI providers may not be fully recoverable.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for any violation. Licensing, indemnity, and liability terms survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. All disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Tattoo preview images and the final two-clip MP4 video are stored in our Supabase Storage bucket. The MP4 and the bake frame are served from a public, unguessable URL via /v/<token>. They are deleted when you delete your account or when you email info@melt.tattoo to request takedown of a specific video.
1.4 Usage Data
We collect usage data including IP address, device type, approximate location, referrer URL, and a device fingerprint hash (SHA-256 derived from canvas, WebGL, and user-agent signals, used to enforce the per-device daily video quota) for service improvement and abuse prevention. We also receive a Cloudflare Turnstile token, which we verify server-side and then discard — we do not retain it. Usage events (page views, button clicks, feature usage) are associated with your user ID.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
