These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the tattoo-visualization website operated by Melt.Tattoo ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18+ and legally capable of entering binding agreements.
The Service is free to use. It allows you to:
AI previews are for illustration only and may not reflect real-life tattoo results.
The Service uses a token system. You receive 100 free tokens on registration. Tokens regenerate daily back to 100. Generating a tattoo preview costs 15 tokens. Generating or extracting a sketch via AI costs 0.5 tokens.
Email Delivery: Generated tattoo previews are delivered to your registered email address. This is a core part of the Service and allows you to receive results even if you leave the page during generation. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe, which will delete your account and all associated data.
4.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all images you upload (skin photos, tattoo designs).
We do not claim ownership over your original images.
4.2 License You Grant to Us
By uploading content, you grant us and our service providers a worldwide,
royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and process
your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
4.3 Image Retention
Melt.Tattoo deletes uploaded photos and generated previews from its own
servers shortly after processing (typically within minutes). However, your
images are also sent to third-party AI services (see Section 6) for
processing. We cannot guarantee that these third-party providers will
fully delete all traces of your data from their systems.

Our AI providers may independently reject content that violates their policies. We may remove content, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these rules.
To operate the Service, your data is processed by the following third parties:

6.2 Google Gemini — Sketch generation, face detection, quality scoring
6.3 Supabase — Database and file storage
6.4 Resend — Email delivery of generated tattoo previews, account verification, and password reset
6.5 ip-api.com — Geolocation from IP address
Your images and data are transmitted to these services for processing. We cannot guarantee that third-party providers will fully delete all traces of your data from their systems. If this is unacceptable, do not use the Service.

All Service code, design, branding, and UI belong to Melt.Tattoo. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, Melt.Tattoo is not liable for: loss of data, loss of profits, damage arising from tattoo decisions, damage from artist recommendations, data breaches by third-party providers, or indirect/consequential damages.
Maximum liability: the amount you paid in the last 12 months or USD $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Melt.Tattoo from any claims arising from your uploads, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with tattoo artists.
You may delete your account. Melt.Tattoo deletes uploaded photos and generated images from its own servers shortly after processing. Account data (email, events, transactions) will be removed on deletion, but data already processed by third-party AI services may not be fully recoverable.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for any violation. Licensing, indemnity, and liability terms survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. All disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
